On Sept. 27th 2019 at 11:00 am the Missing in America Project, in Northern Arizona laid to rest with full Military Honors 4 unclaimed veterans and 1 spouse at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Camp Navajo, Bellemont, AZ.

There were 6 motorcycles and 3 cars that left Phoenix at 7:00 am and proceeded to Lozano’s Funeral home where we met up with 4 Nation of Patriot Rider’s and 4 Flagstaff Law Enforcement Officers.

At 9:30 am we transferred the cremains from the funeral home to the coach and proceeded to Grand Canyon Harley Davidson where we met up with 8 additional riders.

At 10:30 AM we proceeded to the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery and provided a dignified transfer of the cremains to the Committal Shelter. Rifle Volley was provided by the Marine Corps League with VFW providing taps. The US Navy did the flag folding and presentation to Mr. Timney. Cary Carter provided Chaplain Services, Ray Perez with Arizona Department of Veterans Service’s provided the reading of the names with Lynn Powell as bell ringer. Clyde “TEX” Taylor read a poem written by Sgt. Pops.

It was an excellent service that was attended my Colonel Wanda Wright USA Retired and Director of Arizona Department of Veterans Affairs. Colonel Wright stated she really liked the service as there was not any flash to it she said it was short and very well done which is how she wished all services were conducted. So all in all a great day and another service completed.
